About Porter Creek Secondary School Council
The Porter Creek Secondary School Council meets monthly as per the school calendar and, in general terms, the functions of the Council are as follows:
Individuals wishing to participate as a member of the PCSS School council must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Canadian citizenship
2. be 18 years of age or older;
3. a) a resident in the attendance area of the school for at least 3 months, OR; b) a parent of a child attending the school

The Porter Creek Secondary School Council meets monthly as per the school calendar and, in general terms, the functions of the Council are as follows:
- To review and discuss school policies, facilities, programs, and procedures.
- To provide a forum for community members to learn and make inquiries about processes and procedures affecting their children.
- To help create a sense of community within our school neighborhood so that co-operatively a voice is provided about community attitudes and needs as they relate to the school.
