Have questions about PROM? Look below for some answers:
How do you get your ticket for prom? The student grad committee personally hand delivered invitations to each 2023 PCSS graduate with instructions on how to RSVP. If you have not done so, please complete the following before May 19th. How do I RSVP? 1. email: 2023PCSSPROM@gmail.com with 2. your name 3. The name of your prom date & indicate if your prom date is also PCSS grad or not 3. Please provide the number of guests you would like to attend Without this information, you WILL NOT be on the list to access prom and your allotted tickets will be divided out to other graduates. How many tickets can we get? The number of tickets each grad receives is yet to be determined. We need every graduate to respond before the student committee and the parent committee can determine how many tickets each family can have. This is all determined by the number of responses and the venue occupancy. When will we know how many people we can bring? There will be an announcement next week with the number of guests and tickets each RSVP graduate will be allotted. Communication will be on the PCSS announcements, the Grad Facebook page, and an email blast. How do we get the tickets? You can either pick up your tickets at the office or they will be available at the door the evening of prom. Is there a cost for tickets? There is no cost for the thickets – this was made possible because of all the fundraising the grad class did! I paid a prom fee, am I getting this payment back? Yes! The grads did such an outstanding job of fundraising this year, the parent committee will be reimbursing all those who have paid their $50.00 prom fee as it is not required this year. When and how we are processing reimbursements is still being worked out. Please look for communications next week on how you can receive your reimbursement.
Please note the Prom fee is separate from the Cap and Gown fee.
PROM: This event is where students have a dance, and entertainment in a safe, substance free way. This event is organized and put on by the Substance Free Grad Society. This society is made up of parents of the current years graduates. Therefore the society needs to be signed over from last years graduating parents to this years parents. The AGM to facilitate this transition to the new members happened on October 12th at 6:30pm in the PCSS Cafeteria. This Society continues to need help from parents of students who are graduating. Please reach out to one of the parents on the executive to see how you can help:
